Ronnie gave birth to her first born son Jan 20th, 1988, on what would have been our father's 49th birthday. She said she knew from the moment she was sure she was pregnant that her baby would be born on her daddy's birthday. According to obstetrician, she was a week over due and he had actually put her in the hospital that morning, telling her that if she didn't go into labor by the next morning, he would induce. She told him inducing would not be necessary, because her baby would be born before midnight. her doctor asked her what made her so sure? Her reply was simply, "Because it's my Daddy's birthday." Her doctor just chuckled, but she was right. She named her son Chase J.Dee, in honor of his grandfather, Jerry Odee.
